In 2010, Haiti was struck by a catastrophic 7.0-magnitude earthquake that claimed over 250,000 lives and left many more in desperate need. Moved by the devastation witnessed during a relief mission, Please Help Me founded L’Arche Orphanage to offer hope, care, and a brighter future for children living in extreme poverty.

Our clientele consists of;
Orphans: Motherless and or fatherless Children
Street kids: Abandoned children living in the street
Hopeless children: Children that are living in extreme poverty who are brought at the orphanage by their parents or relatives du to lack of hope.
L’arche Orphanage Mission is to invest in the lives of children of Haiti by responding to their physical and spiritual needs in order to insure their long-term development
Our Vision is to Feed, Educate, and bring Restoration to children in Haiti in order to build a better society in Haiti.

PROJECTS
Agriculture
Through the use of natural resources such as earth, sun, and water, combined with modern technologies, we have created a sustainable ecosystem that benefits both the orphanage and the surrounding community.

Goat farming
Goat farming offers a cost-effective and manageable form of livestock production, requiring limited resources and land. This makes it particularly suitable for families in economically disadvantaged communities. Through this initiative, each child at the orphanage raises and manages several goats, fostering responsibility and practical skills. Furthermore, 30 local families have benefited directly from the goat farming start-up program, enhancing their income and food security.

Bakery
This project consisted of building an infrastructure and purchasing equipments for baking bread and other pastry.
4 Objectives:

Provide training in baking and entrepreneurship to children and staff.

Reduce operational costs by producing and consuming baked goods in-house.

Support the orphanage’s path toward self-sufficiency through the sale of bakery products.

Empower the local community by creating income-generating opportunities and helping them become e-sellers.

Fish Farm

Provide training in fish farming for children and staff.

Construct durable, environmentally sustainable infrastructure for Tilapia farming.

Develop a healthy ecosystem conducive to the growth of Tilapia.

Implement the commercialization of the fish farm to generate revenue for the orphanage.
Providing a low production cost of healthy food for the orphanage is a great addition to our program.
